Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking 1-on-1 Math Tutors to support project testing and ongoing curriculum development. This part-time, remote role focuses on Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with CCSS.

You will teach in English with interactive methods, prepare tailored lessons, and provide timely feedback to promote student growth. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Math or Education, have teaching experience or certification, and are available weekday evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Math, Education, or related fields.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred.
• Available during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework.
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time.
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement.
• Bring patience and warmth when working with young learners, and adapt communication style to keep lower elementary students engaged and motivated.
• Paid training will be provided to help you get started.

Pay:

Pay starts from $20–25/hr, with opportunities for promotion and salary increases twice a year.
