Think Academy US is seeking a part-time 1-on-1 Math Tutor to deliver online lessons to Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with CCSS framework. Lessons are conducted in English with interactive, student-centered methods.

You will prepare content tailored to each student, provide timely feedback, and adapt your communication to keep young learners engaged. A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience or certificate are preferred; remote work is supported and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Math, Education, or related field preferred.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate highly preferred.
• Available and willing to work weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

We are currently seeking 1-on-1 Math Tutors to support project testing and ongoing curriculum development. What You Will Do: • Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework • Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time • Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction • Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement • Bring patience and warmth when working with young learners, and adapt communication style to keep lower elementary students engaged and motivated • Paid training will be provided to help you get started How You Can Be Qualified: • Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred • Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred • Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred Pay: Pay starts from $20–25/hr, with opportunities for promotion and salary increases twice a year. • Think Academy is an equal opportunity employer.
