Job summary

Fusion Academy Kendall in Florida is seeking an English and History Teacher for a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school serving grades 5–12. You’ll design creative lessons, tailor instruction to each learner, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

You’ll mentor students, track progress, and partner with families while contributing to campus culture. A Bachelor's degree is required; a teaching credential is a plus. The role offers schedule flexibility and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential are a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives).
• Experience working with students including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset with flexibility to pivot and problem-solve.
