Job description

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As an English and History Teacher you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses—including English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and electives—following content standards; curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social‑emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student‑centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
