Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is seeking a Paraprofessional 1:1 at Yoder Learning Center in Urbana, Ohio. The role focuses on providing individualized support to a designated student throughout the school day to access the curriculum and meet IEP goals.

The position involves collaborating with teachers and families to monitor progress, implement behavior plans, and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment while maintaining privacy and dignity for the student.

Formación

• Provide one-on-one academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to an assigned student.
• Assist in implementing the student's IEP, behavior intervention plan, and other educational supports.
• Reinforce instruction and learning activities as directed by the classroom teacher and intervention team.
• Support the student's communication, organization, self-regulation, and daily routines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to an assigned student.
• Assist in implementing the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), behavior intervention plan, and other educational supports.
• Reinforce instruction and learning activities as directed by the classroom teacher and intervention team.
• Support the student's communication, organization, self-regulation, and daily routines.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs, when required, while maintaining the student's dignity and privacy.
• Monitor student progress and document observations, behaviors, and interventions as required.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
