Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; AA degree with 45 college hours including required ed courses preferred.
• Level III New Mexico Educational Assistant license and a Substitute license.
• Board may deem additional qualifications as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed personnel in the school environment.
• Provides assistance with individual program materials.
• Assists with student discipline and maintaining student involvement in tasks.
• Works with small groups to reinforce material.
• Assists with classroom instruction and testing as needed.
• Be familiar with teacher lesson plans and reinforce teacher-planned lessons.
