Responsibilities

• Participate in daily and long-range lesson and classroom activity planning.
• Conduct learning exercises with small groups of students.
• Guide students in developing positive relationships with peers and adults.
• Assist with supervision of pupils in classrooms, corridors, yards, cafeterias, etc.
• Assist Pre-K through 5th grade students with toileting, dressing, feeding, positioning, and self-care as needed.
• Correct students' work with teacher supervision and assign additional work to remediate weaknesses.
• Support teachers in meeting personal and academic needs of students.
• Attend ongoing professional development sessions.
