Responsibilities

Participate in daily and long-range lesson and classroom activity planning.
Assist with instruction and reinforce IEP goals for students.
Support social-emotional development and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Supervise pupils in classrooms, corridors, yards, cafeterias and on field trips.
Assist with toileting, dressing, feeding and self-care for Pre-K to 5th grade.
Correct students' work under teacher supervision and prescribe extra work as needed.
Attend ongoing professional development sessions and meet district expectations.
Serve as a resource for substitute teachers and support staff.
