Assist special education students individually or in groups on projects or assignments; aid in learning and use of skills.
Prepare classrooms, materials, and handouts; photocopy materials and arrange seating.
Monitor safety on playground and cafeteria; accompany students between areas and buses.
Assist with feeding, toileting, and behavior management as needed; maintain incident documentation.
Communicate progress and concerns to parents and help interpret teacher communications.
