Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development, instructional strategies and practices applicable to assignment.
• Ability to assist with implementation of the instructional program and to participate in monitoring and ensuring appropriate student behavior.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of standard computer hardware and software such as Google Workspace and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a 4th grade student during school hours.
• Assist with instructional activities and classroom management as directed by teachers.
• Support student learning and well-being in various settings, including off grounds if needed.
• Perform related clerical tasks to support teachers and staff.
