Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained; WorkKeys, Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
• Familiarity with some data collection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to an assigned student to reinforce learning.
• Assist with implementing individualized strategies for the student.
• Establish and maintain a positive, supportive relationship with the student.
• Support the student during transitions, drills, assemblies, and field trips.
• Assist with lunch, snack, toileting, and cleanup routines as needed.
• Monitor and support the student in non-classroom settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to support IEP goals.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or administration.
