Job summary

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Special Education Instructor to provide one-to-one instruction using the APEX Learning curriculum. The role focuses on implementing accommodations and modifications aligned with each student's IEP.

The ideal candidate has an LBS1, a bachelor's degree, and experience with ASD, ED, or SLD programs. A friendly, patient approach and proficiency with G-Suite and LMS are required. Fingerprinting and background checks are also needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and LBS1 certification required.
• Patience and empathy; able to support diverse learners.
• Proficiency with G-Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• FBI/State background check fingerprinting as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one instruction using the provided curriculum (APEX Learning).
• Implement accommodations/modifications per IEP to support student success.
• Maintain a supportive, distraction-free learning environment focusing on individual students.
