Job summary

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part Time Special Education Instructor to conduct one-to-one sessions using the provided curriculum. This role focuses on students with IEP accommodations, supported by a case manager and a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree and LBS1 certification, plus experience with ASD/ED/SLD programs. Fingerprinting and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and LBS1 certification are required.
• Experience with ASD, ED and/or SLD programs is preferred.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and provide fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one instruction using the provided curriculum (APEX Learning).
• Provide accommodations and modifications per the IEP to support student success.
• Focus on the individual in the classroom with minimal administrative duties.
• Teach without additional lesson planning or outside work responsibilities.
