Job summary

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is seeking a Special Education Teacher Assistant for a 1:1 resource position at Boulder Hill Elementary School. The role supports students with academic, behavioral, and health needs under the direction of teachers.

The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with a salary of $19.25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Employees participate in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) and enjoy 12 paid holidays plus winter/spring/summer

Qualifications

• Interest in assisting students with specialized needs.
• Ability to apply written and verbal guidance to work situations.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and health/hygiene needs as directed by Special Education Teachers.
• Assist with implementing classroom strategies and routines for students in a 1:1 setting at Boulder Hill Elementary School.
