Job summary

Wabash Valley Online Application Consortium is seeking an Elementary Special Education 1:1 Instructional Assistant to work at Clinton Central Elementary School. Qualifications

• Willingness to learn about special education and health care procedures.

• Experience in providing personal care to students.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous one-on-one supervision to the student.
• Assist with personal care needs including toileting and hygiene.
• Monitor health-related needs, following the student's IEP.

Skills

Strong communication and documentation skills

Experience working within a school setting

Knowledge of safe lifting and mobility assistance techniques

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or comparable healthcare experience

CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred
