Job summary

Delta-T Group Hartford, Inc. is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for Norwich, CT, for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an independent contractor per-diem role providing direct 1:1 care and medical support to medically fragile students in schools.

Per-diem and ongoing schedules are available, with regular school hours. The position requires an active RN license, CPR, and the ability to complete required clearances; responsibilities include medication administration, vitals, and communication with

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Current in person CPR
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, Vaccines as requested

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and take vitals
• Contact parents or guardians if necessary
• May include assisting medically fragile children on bus runs or field trips by monitoring vitals and administering medication.
