Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse to support medically fragile students in a South Carolina school district. The RN will work under the supervision of the school’s RN and Executive Director of Special Education, providing specialized 1:1 health services and ensuring student safety during school hours.

The role requires a SC RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with preference for school/public health pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, preferably in school nursing, public health nursing, emergency room, or pediatrics.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 health-related services to chronically ill, medically fragile, and injured students.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision, including catheterization, suctioning, tracheotomy care, and tube feedings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality per district standards; report concerns to the supervising RN.
