Job summary

Northshore School District 417 in Bothell, WA seeks a 1:1 Registered School Nurse to promote student health and well-being in the classroom, enabling full educational opportunities. The role supports medically fragile students during the school day and collaborates with classroom teachers.

The incumbent must have WA RN licensure, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, with pediatric/school nursing experience preferred. CPI training or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current certification in first aid and CPR; CPR/AED certification.
• Pediatric, adolescent, or school nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary medical and nursing care for the assigned student and collaborate with teachers to adapt work/materials to support learning.
• Work as an active participant in the student’s school day, accompany to activities, and maintain medical equipment.
• Collaborate with teachers on 504 Plans, IEPs, IHCPs, Emergency Care Plans, and evacuation procedures.
