The Cove School is seeking a Full-time 1:1 Medical Aide for the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 12, 2026. The Aide will provide direct instructional and intervention support to students while fostering a positive learning environment.

This position requires a State of Illinois paraprofessional or substitute license and includes various responsibilities such as adapting instructional materials, supervising students, and maintaining records. Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED required.
• Comfortable working with students who have medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instructional and intervention support as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Provide small group and one-on-one academic support.
• Adapt instructional materials to meet diverse student needs.
• Collect data on student progress and IEP goals.
