Job summary

Central Bucks School District is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 1:1 classroom for a full-time, benefits-eligible position at Central Bucks High School - South. The role supports the staff nurse with daily tasks in the health office and may accompany students on trips.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and completed CNA training; CPR/First Aid training is a plus. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour day and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA Training program and passing competency exam preferred.
• Knowledge of seizure first aid and medical device operation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with duties of Staff Nurse and support within health office scope.
• Contribute during class trips and other activities as assigned.
• Positioning, feeding, toileting, changing and daily activities assistance as needed.
• Perform other nursing-related tasks as directed by the Certified School Nurse.
