Job summary

Wesley Village in Macomb, IL is seeking a Part-time 1:1 Resident Companion to provide overnight care. This role requires staying awake from midnight to 8:00 AM and supporting an assigned resident with safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the night.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and compassionate, with healthcare or caregiving experience preferred. You’ll collaborate closely with our nursing team to maintain high-quality, resident-centered care in a welcoming, equal-opportunity

PART-TIME 1:1 Resident Companion

Wesley Village – Macomb, IL

We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and attentive 1:1 Sitter to join our team!

Schedule:

• 24 hours per week
• Midnight – 8:00 AM
• Every other weekend

As a 1:1 Companion, you will provide continuous supervision and support to an assigned resident, helping maintain their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.

What we’re looking for:

• Healthcare or caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Dependable and punctual
• Patient and compassionate
• Must be able to remain awake, alert, and attentive for the entire overnight shift
• Comfortable working closely with elderly and our nursing team
• Committed to resident safety, dignity, and quality care

This position requires continuous observation, so the ability to stay awake and attentive throughout the entire shift is an essential job expectation.
