Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and revises as needed.
• Incorporates nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes and reports changes in patient condition to physician/supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans for education, coordination, and discharge needs.
