Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work 1 on 1 with a pediatric patient in Salt Lake City. Shifts are 9-12 hours with training available for new or inexperienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning needs.
