Responsibilities

• Follows hospital policy regarding patient safety measures and infection prevention.
• Works with nursing staff to care for basic patient needs and responds to requests.
• Provides constant 1:1 observation for designated patients.
• Documents patient behaviors at policy-defined intervals.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to the care team.
• Maintains calm demeanor and protects patient dignity during stressful encounters.
• Maintains confidentiality of the patient's plan of care.
