Job summary

Bond Health is seeking a paraprofessional to work one-on-one with a preschooler in a school setting. The role involves shadowing the child in the classroom, accompanying them to physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions, and responding to medical emergencies as they arise.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, 3–6 months paraprofessional experience, Epi-Pen training, and be willing to work with medically fragile children.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 3–6 months paraprofessional experience required.
• Trained in use of Epi-Pen.
• Willing to work with medically fragile children in a school environment.
• Must be fingerprinted by the Board of Education; fees paid by candidate.

Responsibilities

• Shadow child in the classroom and attend to the child.
• Accompany child to therapy sessions (physical, occupational and speech).
• Respond to medical emergencies that may arise.
• Perform paraprofessional responsibilities as needed.
• Other responsibilities as required by situation and supervisor.
