Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher or equivalent; or 48 credit hours or a passing assessment.
• Experience with Special Needs Students preferred.
• Experience in urban settings and with diverse student populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Operates and cares for classroom equipment for instruction.
• Helps students master equipment and instructional materials.
• Assists with implementing behavioral modification programs as directed by the teacher.
• Keeps behavioral logs and data (daily/weekly).
• Supervises students during drills, assemblies, and field trips.
• Assists students with mobility and personal care.
• Assists with lunch, snack and cleanup routines.
• Meets buses and assists with breakfast and lunch routines.
