Dove Academy, part of Choice Schools, is seeking a dedicated role to provide 1:1 support for students with diverse learning needs. You will document IEP progress, collaborate with the Special Education team, and assist teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom materials.

You will engage with parents/guardians to foster a supportive learning environment and assist with student records and safety, including personal care services as required.

Competenze

• Experience assisting students with IEPs and diverse learning needs.
• Ability to communicate with students, staff and guardians professionally.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Supports student with a disability in a 1:1 capacity.
• Completes daily documentation of student with IEP.
• Works with Special Education team to support student.
• Assists classroom teacher with organizing and distributing materials.
• Assists in supporting instruction and engaging students.
• Uses resources to support learning in classroom and community.
• Demonstrates effective classroom techniques and promotes respectful environment.
• Assists in assessing learner needs and progress.
• Maintains student records as requested.
• Assumes other responsibilities assigned by teacher or school leader.
• Promotes parent/guardian involvement and safe, cooperative environments.
• Provides Personal Care Services as needed (toileting, medical, etc.).
• Participates in marketing the Academy at community events.
