Job summary

Northshore School District is seeking a 1:1 paraeducator for the school year to support an individual student across Bothell-area classrooms. The role emphasizes promoting positive academic behaviors and consistent redirection in collaboration with the classroom team.

The position requires working with students who may have cognitive, physical, or behavioral needs. Training and ongoing collaboration with teachers will be provided to implement IEP goals and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Assistance with learning, behavior, social and daily living needs.
• Ability to implement plans for individual students or small groups as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Willingness to work cooperatively with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in learning, behavior, social, daily living and/or physical development.
• Provide tutoring and assist with organization, proctor tests, and adapt lessons under teacher guidance.
• Lead small group activities and support classroom instruction and data collection.
