Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a subject area (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology) required.
• Patience and empathy; ability to support diverse learning needs.
• Heart for teaching and desire to share subject matter with students.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach one-to-one, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs and learning style.
• Deliver instruction with no required lesson planning or outside work; focus on student learning.
• Support and guide students to mastery using a gradual release approach.
