Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant III 1:1 for 6 hours per day (0.75 FTE) at Mariemont. The role focuses on moderate to severe support needs, assisting students with learning or communicative handicaps in a structured classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent and one document [A or B] from the following list.
• Passing CBEST or IA Proficiency Test is required, regardless of educational background.
• An incomplete application or unsigned application will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support 1:1 with moderate/severe support needs.
• Experience working with groups of children and with impaired children or adults is highly desirable.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a CA Class C Driver License within 30 days may be required in some programs.
