Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an in-home Special Education Tutor to provide personalized 1:1 instruction tailored to each student’s IEP goals. The role emphasizes targeted intervention, socio-emotional support, and behavioral guidance in the student’s home.

Flexible, part-time hours are available with compensation of $25-$35 per hour. Experience with neurodivergent learners and a commitment to inclusive education are valued.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a accredited college/university, or holds AA, BA, or higher degree.
• Degrees in Special Education, Psychology, or Education are highly preferred.
• Proven experience with students with special needs and learning differences.
• Strong communication, patience and empathy are essential.
• Spanish language skills are a strong plus; able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Targeted 1:1 tutoring in-home for students with special education needs.
• Align instruction with each student's IEP goals.
• Adapt materials and teaching methods to fit learning profiles.
• Document progress and adjust strategies to support growth.
• Maintain open communication with parents and school teams.
