Job summary

Hallway Healthcare in San Ramon, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home, 1:1 patient care. The role emphasizes compassionate support, vital signs, daily living activities, and collaboration with nursing staff.

Shifts include Tue, Thu, Sat 10am-6pm with a hourly rate of $21.00–$23.00. Responsibilities include documenting care in Alayacare, assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining a clean, safe home environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CNA experience.
• EMR experience and computer literacy.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation on Alayacare by end of each shift.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, cooking, feeding and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Transport patients to appointments, stores or pharmacies.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
