Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice Physical Therapy in Alabama.
• New graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability.
• Valid CPR certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a physical therapist; community/home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based on physician orders and adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family as applicable.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for proper billing.
• Supervise PTAs and PT aides in direct patient care per state practice act.
