Job summary
Interim HealthCare of Madison is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Madison-area Home Health and Hospice teams. You will provide home-based care, coordinate with physicians, and oversee LPNs/CNAs, delivering one-on-one patient care with autonomy and purpose.
This full-time, day-shift role offers competitive pay ($80,000-$95,000/year), mileage reimbursement, on-call pay, and benefits including medical/dental/vision and 401(k), with growth opportunities through online training and
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Wisconsin RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in home health or hospice.
- CPR certification required; valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases.
- Oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides delivering patient care.
- Examine patients, perform assessments, document progress and report changes to physicians.
- Educate patients on plan of care, medications, therapy, diet and exercise.
- Coach family members on care plan, medications and home safety.
- Coordinate discharge from services to ensure smooth transitions.
