Job summary

Fusion Academy, a fully accredited private school for grades 5-12, seeks an English and History Teacher to tailor instruction for individual students. You’ll design creative lessons, mentor learners, and collaborate with passionate colleagues in a dynamic campus environment.

You’ll teach a broad range of courses, including English and U.S. history, while maintaining records and embracing ongoing professional development. Excellent communication and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Experience teaching a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, Electives).
• Experience working with students with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
