Job summary

Mains’l Services is hiring 1:1 Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support in homes and communities across Minnesota. You’ll help a person live their best life in a 1:1 setting, with flexible scheduling and potential for full-time or part-time roles.

As a 1:1 DSP, you’ll deliver person-centered support, assist with daily activities, transportation, and skill-building, with paid training and opportunities for growth across the organization.

Qualifications

• Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• At least 18 years old
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Reliable transportation with insurance
• Ability to pass a DHS background check

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support (ADLs, skill-building, behavioral supports)
• Support community involvement and social connections
• Assist with errands, shopping, and appointments
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home
• Support budgeting, organization, and daily routines
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments
• Offer guidance, problem-solving, and advocacy
• Document daily activities and care
