Job summary

Reynoldsburg City Schools is seeking a 1:1 Specialized Paraprofessional to provide dedicated, individualized support to a student with intensive academic, behavioral, or medical needs. Under licensed teachers, Intervention Specialists, and BCBAs, you will help ensure safety and promote inclusion throughout the school day.

The role requires implementing IEPs/BIPs, collecting progress data, and collaborating with staff to support transitions, classroom activities, and transportation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ohio Educational Aide Permit required.
• ParaPro credential or equivalent within 60 days of hire or transfer.
• Background checks as required by Ohio law.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant 1:1 supervision and support to the assigned student throughout the school day.
• Implements the student’s IEP and BIP under supervision of licensed staff.
• Collects and records precise student behavioral and academic data to monitor progress.
• Assists with safety, transportation, and crisis intervention as needed.
