Job summary

Quincy School District seeks a 1:1 Behavior Technician at Ancient Lakes Elementary in Quincy, Washington to support high-risk students requiring individualized 1:1 supervision.

Under supervision of the certificated teacher and special education staff, you will develop plans, implement behavioral supports, collect data, and help students with daily living skills in a 180-day, 7-hour-per-day schedule. Contingent on student enrollment and background checks.

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education (as required).
• Associate’s degree OR pass the ETS Para Pro Assessment test.
• Experience working with P-12 students preferred.
• First Aid/CPR credentials or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, materials, and activities under teacher guidance.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Implement positive behavior supports to create a conducive learning environment.
• Follow program activities, policies, and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
