Overview

Support student success by assisting with their individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide behavior support and teach life skills as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic guidance and support.

Responsibilities

• Work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Assist in implementing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors and progress.
• Implement de-escalation and crisis management techniques.
• Supervise students and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with team members for consistent support.
• Provide personal care as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience with behavioral interventions in an educational setting preferred.

Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 per hour.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to run, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform fine motor tasks.
• Operate a computer or tablet for extended periods.
• Respond to non-verbal cues and remain calm in demanding situations.
