Job Description

The West Chester Area School District has a Science teaching position available at Stetson Middle School, secondary level (certification requirement – appropriate valid PA certification in Science):

1.0 LTS Science Teacher - Rustin High School (Full 2025-26 School Year)

To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent the minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill, and ability necessary:

• Bachelor’s degree with appropriate valid PA certification
• Ability to implement a holistic instruction and assessment system based on state academic standards
• Proficiency in the use of instructional technology to enhance student learning
• Ability to design an instructional program aimed at addressing the racial achievement gap
• Possess practical interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside contacts
