Description

The Dual Language Program Teacher plans and implements lessons in accordance with the District Standards, English Language Proficiency Standards, and the district's curriculum model. Responsibilities include using student assessment data to guide instruction, collaborating with staff to meet diverse learners' needs, serving as a second language consultant, participating in school improvement initiatives, and acting as a bilingual liaison to support positive relationships and cultural understanding.

Job Summary

The teacher ensures students develop critical thinking, effective communication in Spanish and English, and an understanding of cultural diversity.

Essential Functions

1. Provide instruction in Spanish and English for designated subjects.
2. Develop an educational program aligned with district goals.
