Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Loader Operator to move aggregates within a quarry environment. You will operate front-end loaders, load trucks, and coordinate with plant personnel to maintain throughput and safety.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, routine maintenance support, strict adherence to PPE and safety policies, and effective communication with drivers and operators to ensure smooth loading operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, especially front-end loaders, in quarry or construction.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
• Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks, including climbing, bending, and lifting, in various weather conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude for performing routine equipment checks and minor maintenance.

• May perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment, such as greasing and cleaning.
