Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is actively seeking a hands-on operator at our Indiana site to move and stockpile aggregates and load trucks while ensuring product quality. You will perform pre-op checks, uphold safety standards, and support overall plant operations in a fast-paced industrial setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to safely move and stockpile materials.
• Load customer and internal trucks efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and report equipment maintenance needs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas in accordance with company and site procedures.
• Support plant operations by assisting with production, inventory management, and other assigned tasks.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer
