Responsibilities

  • Perform product audits during samples and pre-production phases.
  • Follow up on corrective actions of product audit non-conformities.
  • Verify dimensional and functional conformity of initial samples.
  • Approve initial sampling inspection reports.
  • Maintain compliance with integrated management systems.
  • Ensures compliance with integrated management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Checks updates for technical changes to products, processes, equipment and documentation.
  • Approves product and production processes per customer requirements and internal procedures.
  • Ensures SPC/MSA/CPK/CMK data are available during samples and pre-production.
  • Maintains quality control per customer requirements during samples and pre-production.
  • Maintains customer technical documents (drawings, changes).
  • Implements continuous improvement in quality management processes.
  • Ensures compliance with customer-specific requirements.
  • Authorized to stop production or dispatch to mitigate risk.

Job Description
  • Performs product audits as planned e.g. components, semi‑finished goods and finished goods during samples, like A‑, B‑, C‑ and D‑, and pre‑production phases.
  • Follows up corrective actions of product audits non‑conformities within the project through QRQC activities in the plant, lead by Industrial Engineering.
  • Verifies the dimensional and functional conformity of the initial samples.
  • Approves PPAPISIR, initial sampling inspection report, German: EMPB, of the initial sample.
  • Registers the release on customer portal if applicable.
  • Ensures compliance with the integrated management systems, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Checks that products, processes, equipment, tooling and documentation are updated for each technical change.
  • Approves product and production processes according to customer requirements and internal procedures.
  • Ensures that all statistical data SPC, MSA, CPK, CMK, etc. are available during samples, like A‑, B‑, C‑ and D‑, and pre‑production phases.
  • Maintains quality control according to customer requirements and internal procedure during samples, like A‑, B‑, C‑ and D‑, and pre‑production phases.
  • Maintains the technical documents of the customer e.g. drawing, drawing complement, technical change.
  • Ensures implementation of continuous improvement actions of the quality management processes, procedures, policies, activities and reports throughout the segment or area of responsibility.
  • Ensures compliance with customer specific requirement within segment or area of responsibility.
  • Is authorized to stop production and/or dispatch to mitigate risk of non‑conforming processes and products.
