Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Prior patient care experience or CNA preferred.
• Capable of assisting with patient transport and care during MRI procedures.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and safety throughout imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of supplies for imaging services.
• Coordinate work to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Assist with transport of patients to and from the MRI Department.
• Support patient care before, during, and after exams.
• Assist technologists with safety screening of patients and staff.

Consistently assist with maintenance of supplies needed for efficient and effective provision of diagnostic services.

Coordinate work to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.

Demonstrate correct procedure for the transport of patients to and from the MRI Department.

Provides for the privacy of patients and families within the limitations of Imaging Services and keeping the safety of the patient in mind.

Assists the technologists with general patient care and assessment prior, during and after the exam.

Assist Technologists with safety screening of patients and staff.
