Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Midwest Agg, Inc. is seeking a capable maintenance technician to inspect, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry processing equipment at our Indiana site.

You will diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance to keep plant operations running safely and reliably. The role may involve welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment in a heavy manufacturing, mining, or aggregate environment.
• Working knowledge of conveyors, crushers, pumps, hydraulic systems, and mobile or stationary plant equipment.
• Ability to safely perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and mechanical repair tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, equipment drawings, and repair procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry processing equipment.

What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
