Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking a Translation Project Coordinator to support the Production team with weekend coverage. The role requires working 5 days per week, with 2 days on Saturday and Sunday.

Successful candidates will coordinate multilingual projects from initiation to delivery, collaborate with internal teams and a global network of vendors, and manage timelines, budgets, and quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar corporate role.
• Ability to work independently and with international stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full lifecycle of multiple localization and translation projects simultaneously
• Coordinate all project phases, from initiation to delivery, ensuring smooth execution
• Collaborate with Sales/Client Services teams to define project scope, timelines, and requirements
• Communicate with our global network of vendors to negotiate rates, assign tasks and deadlines, and monitor progress
• Track project status, identify and resolve issues with stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, including cost tracking, gross margins and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
• Perform quality control checks at various stages (proofreading, final-eye reviews)
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the manager/supervisor
