Job summary

Baykar is seeking a technically skilled engineer to participate in testing and integration of weapon systems and hydraulic/pneumatic subsystems on aircraft. You will verify system performance and help ensure readiness for field use.

Responsibilities include conducting tests, documenting results, and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to support project processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulics/pneumatic subsystems.
• Experience with mechanical integration and good manual dexterity.
• Proficient in MS Office suite for documentation and reporting.
• Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, risk management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to adapt to demanding work pace.
• Field experience with weapon systems or aircraft subsystems is a plus.

Job description

Our Unit:

This unit conducts testing, integration, verification, and improvement activities for weapon systems and hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems for aircraft developed within Baykar. Ensuring the suitability of developed systems for field conditions, managing integration processes, and providing pre- and post-mass production technical support are the unit's primary responsibilities.

Position Objective:

The aim is to actively participate in the testing and integration activities of weapon systems and hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in aircraft, verifying and improving the systems, and ensuring they are safely ready for use.

• Conducting and reporting on testing activities of weapon systems and hydraulic and pneumatic systems under development,
• Performing integration procedures of the relevant systems on the aircraft,
• Preparing technical documentation for testing, integration, maintenance and mass production processes,
• Participating in field activities related to weapon systems, ammunition, hydraulic and pneumatic systems,
• Providing technical support to project processes by working in coordination with different disciplines.

General Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in mechanical systems,
• Preferably experienced in industrial hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems,
• Experienced in mechanical integration with good manual dexterity,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs,
• Actively involved in technical projects and adept at teamwork,
• Analytical thinker, results-oriented, and possessing a risk management perspective,
• Able to adapt to a demanding work pace,
• Strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility,
• We are looking for team members who have no restrictions on domestic and international travel.

Additional Qualifications That May Be Preferred:

• Technical English proficiency,
• Field experience with weapon systems, ammunition, or aircraft subsystems,
• Experience working with test infrastructure and measurement equipment are additional qualifications that may be preferred.
