Job summary

Gizli Şirket is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design structural and moving mechanisms for weapon systems and to contribute to concept-to-prototype development. You will research new technologies, prepare evaluations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet tight schedules.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, up to several years of defense design experience, and strong CAD skills (CATIA) along with AI-assisted engineering tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 0-5 years of design experience in weapon systems or the defense industry.
• Knowledge of weapon systems and weapon and ammunition integration.
• Knowledge of and experience in moving mechanism design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (CATIA), with knowledge of tolerancing and technical drawing.
• Knowledge of strength (structural) and dynamic analysis.
• Ability to actively use AI tools in engineering work.
• Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong process-tracking skills.
• Good command of technical English.

Responsibilities

• Design structural and moving mechanisms for weapon systems.
• Carry out design, integration, and testing activities in concept and prototype development.
• Research new technologies and competitor systems, and prepare technical evaluation reports.
• Track project processes, work packages, and schedules, and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Develop fast and lasting solutions to technical problems in demanding, critical projects.
• Act quickly on design, analysis, research, and documentation tasks.
