Job summary

BSI in Istanbul, Turkey offers a full-time, 12‑month fixed-term Country Financial Controller role in a hybrid setup reporting to the Finance Director. You will lead financial accounting, reporting, control and statutory compliance for the Türkiye entity, delivering timely, accurate information to Group Finance and local stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting or finance leadership, with strong TR process knowledge, tax accounting experience and proven people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 8 years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, controlling, audit or finance leadership.
• Understanding of the TR processes and requirements.
• Experience of tax accounting and indirect tax matters.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and reporting activities for the Türkiye legal entity.
• Ensure timely and compliant completion of all local tax filings and statutory obligations.
• Review balance sheets, reconciliations, and cash flow positions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies while driving high reconciliation and documentation standards.
• Monitor and improve working capital performance by analysing key financial drivers and trends.
• Manage internal and external audit relationships, ensuring smooth and timely audit completion.
• Maintain compliance with local accounting, taxation, payroll, and regulatory requirements.
• Support TR and Group Finance objectives through additional finance-related projects and responsibilities as required.
